Braintree Town Football Club are concerned about the suitability of the site for the proposed 2,000 homes and the impact that traffic from a football stadium, together with the additional homes would create on the already heavily congested Panfield Lane. I share the concerns raised by Braintree councillors David Mann, Moia Thorogood and Tony Everard. I have reservations about the suitability of that location for thousands of extra homes and a new football stadium. Anyone who has tried to use Panfield Lane during the rush-hour will share my worries. − Lee Harding, Braintree
